‘Makes my heart smile’: Volunteers serve free Easter meal at Hope Gospel Mission

EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – Some in Eau Claire are using the Easter weekend to help out their neighbors in the community.
Hope Gospel Mission served hundreds of free Easter meals in Eau Claire Saturday. For volunteers like Jess Hoesly, making those meals is anything but a chore.
“It makes my heart smile really,” she said.

Hoesly helped serve meals at Hope Gospel for the first time this Easter.
“I love the opportunity to help others within the community and giving back,” she said.
The free meal gives back in a big way.
