Cardiff charity Oasis ‘hopeful’ that stolen food trailer will be returned

ThefoodtrailerhasbecomeastapleofOasis,anon-profitcharity,whichrecentlycelebrated16yearsofhelpingpeopleseekingsanctuary.ThroughthesaleofMiddleEasternandLatinAmericancuisine,thefoodtrailerhasraisedfundsforvitalservicesandhasbeenafixtureatfestivalsandeventsacrosstheUK;includingthefamousGreenManFestival. In2022,thetrailerfoundapermanenthomeattheOasissiteinSplottCardiff,becomingalunchtimefavouriteamonglocals.Knownforitsdeliciousfalafel,thefoodtraileralsoprovidedvaluableworkexperienceforrefugeesandasylumseekers,helpingthembuildskillsandgainemploymentopportunities.
