Stroud charity issues 100k challenge to help young people in need

ASTROUD-basedcharityhaslaunchedafundraisingchallengetohelpyoungpeopleinneed.
TheDoorisaskingresidentstowalk,jog,run,cycle,orwheeltheirwayto100kmduringMaytohelpraisemoneyforthecharity.
TheDoorprovidessupporttoyoungpeopleinneed,matchingthemwithvolunteermentorswholisten,support,andhelpthemmakepositivestepsforward.
Thecharitysaidthatsincetheservicelaunchedalmost20yearsago,thesepartnershipshavebeentransformative.
Oneyoungpersonsaid:“Ifeelsuchaweightoffmyshouldersfromtalkingtosomeonewhowillactuallylistenandseethingsfrommypointofview.”
