Run Falmouth 2025 raises £30,000 for charity

Thisyear’sRunFalmouthhalfmarathon,heldonSunday,March16,byhealthcarecharityCornwallHospiceCare,wasalsoarecord-breaker. Thelargestnumberofrunnerssignedup,andofthe950entries,798startedonabreezybutsunnymorning. ThewinnerwasSteveReynoldsfromTruroRunningClub,whocrossedthefinishlineinonehourand13minutes,settinganewrecordforthecurrentcourse. Healsowontheeventin2023inatimeofonehour,16minutes,and56seconds. Conditionswerenearlyperfect,withblueskiesandsunshine,butachillybreezethatinplacesprovidedaheadwindfortherunners. Steve,whocamethirdatlastyear’sRunFalmouth,ledfromthestartandsaidaftercrossingthefinishline:“I’mdelighted,it’satoughcourseinplacesbutIknowthe13.1-milerouteandhopedIcouldsetagoodpace.” Steve’spacegavehimaclearlead,withsecond-placedEdDickinsonfromtheFalmouthRunningClubcrossingthelinemorethanfourminuteslaterwithatimeofonehour,17minutes,
