Anewmatchfundingcampaignhasbeenlaunchedforthisyear’sSmallCharityWeek,whichwilldoubledonationsviathefundingplatformBigGivetoparticipatingcharities.
TheNationalCouncilforVoluntaryOrganisationshaspartneredwiththematch-fundingplatformBigGiveandGlobal’sMakeSomeNoise,whichisthecharityofthemediacompanyGlobal,tolaunchtheSmallCharityWeekMatchFundingCampaign.
Thecampaign,whichwillmarkthisyear’sSmallCharityWeek(23-30June),willmatchdonationstoparticipatingcharitiesthataremadeviaBigGive’splatformduringtheweek.
Global’sMakeSomeNoiseandBigGiveareassemblingagroupof“champions”thatwillprovidematchfundingduringtheweekofthecampaign.
SmallcharitiescanapplytobepartofthecampaignthroughBigGive’swebsite,withapplicationsopenuntil2April.
Successfulcharitieswillbemadeanofferby7May,whichwillgiveasumofmatchfundingthatisring-fencedtotheirorganisation.
